DECKED OUT WITH DEKTON

This Featured Friday we put together brand new offices in our Design Studio, featuring Dekton desks in the color Trillium. Inspired by the industrialized look of oxidized steel, Trillium is composed of a mix of volcanic shades of grey, brown and deep black to create a rusted effect that is unexpectedly smooth to the touch. Its light to dark contrasting forms a somewhat metallic effect that gives the surface an extremely genuine appearance with an edgy look perfect for trendy projects.

We installed Diamond Edge Series cabinetry for storage in finishes rustic hickory coffee glaze. Semi-custom cabinets are available in more styles, features and options allowing you to create a personalized look for your kitchen. Semi-custom cabinets can be installed in a wide choice of finishes, stains, paints, glazes and specialty finishing techniques.

DEKTON IS A BLEND OF RAW MATERIALS USED TO PRODUCE THE VERY LATEST IN GLASS AND PORCELAIN SURFACES.

Due to its’ size and lightness the possibilities for new designs in kitchens, bathrooms, facades, walls or high-traffic flooring are limitless.

Non-Porous

Dekton is non-porous and never needs to be sealed. It naturally prevents liquids and gasses from penetrating the surface, making it a low maintenance surface that is easier to clean.

Heat Resistant

Dekton withstands high temperatures without burning, scorching or cracking. Hot Pots and Appliances like Crock Pots can be placed directly on the surface with no worry of damage.

Scratch Resistant

Dekton is the most scratch resistant surface on the market and while the slip of a knife won’t damage Dekton, cutting boards are still recommended to protect your household utensils.

Stain Resistant

While other surfaces are stain resistant, Dekton is completely Stain Proof. Even the most stubborn stains like wine, coffee, markers and rust can easily be removed from the surface.

Water Proof

Dekton is highly resistant to hydrolysis.

Dekton is highly resistant to ultra violet (UV) light and will not fade or degrade over time making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor applications.Dekton is even more resistant to abrasion than granite making it the ideal surface for commercial applications and high traffic areas such as flooring. While other surfaces show wear over time, Dekton’s finish will last for the life of the product and never needs to be re-surfaced or re-finished.

Dekton’s low coefficient of thermal expansion makes it Thermal Shock proof from both extreme heat and extreme cold. It’s natural resistance to ice and thawing makes it perfect for use in even the coldest environments.
