At IVO, we offer custom cabinet fabrication so that you get the cabinets of your dreams! Custom fabrication allows you to choose every detail – from the wood species & finish to the style of door. Share your ideas and let us handle the rest! Our fabrication process ensures our customers get exactly what they want, we aren’t happy until you’re happy!
1. DESIGN
Our custom cabinet fabrication always starts with design. You dream it, we build it! From narrow to wide, oak to cherry, stained to painted, we offer it all! For best accuracy, we input your cabinet measurements & style using our template design tool to simulate what your dream kitchen will look like before the cutting process.
2. CUT
Using your cabinet measurements, we then start the cutting your choice & style of wood and prepping it for assembly. Our table saw operating system with a finish blade ensures the utmost quality cut & that your wood will not splinter in the process. Whether you choose shaker, flat, or raised style doors, IVO can custom make it your way!
3. ASSEMBLE
Before shelving is inserted, we assemble the sides, back, bottom, toe-kick, & supports to form a cabinet box. A cabinet box is the plywood that makes up the structure of the cabinet. All the joints are secured with wood glue to give your cabinet box strength to last.
4. FINISH
We offer two wood finishes for our custom cabinetry: painted & stained. Before staining custom cabinets, we spray two layers of polyurethane to protect unfinished wood. Painting custom cabinets requires two coats of wood primer to ensure the paint applies evenly. Once the wood is dry, its time to attach the hardware & doors.
5. ATTACH
We attach the hardware & doors last because it ensures that the cabinetry will not be damaged during installation. After adding your finishing touches, we can proudly say we have created cabinets that are uniquely yours.
